2014 Hertz Rent-a-Racer?

You all probably know the 1966 Ford (Shelby) Mustang GT350H, a special line of Mustang GT350s for rent that, after their rental-car lives were finished, were returned to Ford, refurbished, and sold to the public as GT350H models.

They mostly came in Black with gold bonnet/rocker striping and they were also known as Rent-A-Racers. In 2006 Herz and Ford teamed up again and released a new GT350H.

As I said you probably all know this already but to my surprise I saw some black Focus 'ST-H' parked yesterday which I wasn't aware of even existed. At first I thought it was somebody's own project/creativity but after a brief search on google it seems you can actually rent this at Herz over here in Europe. Never knew this was a thing but I've been too busy with my own projects lately so a lot of car-related stuff probably couldn't reach the brain. And yes: everything in Europe is smaller.

I know. Just too bad that glorious 5-cilinder is no more.
